Donald is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Consultant, Certified Forensic and Fraud Expert, and Management Consultant, with extensive professional experience spanning the public sector, private sector, multinationals, NGOs, and donor-funded development projects. He majors in taxation, with deep expertise in tax planning, tax compliance, tax audit and investigation, fiscal advisory, and the interpretation and application of Nigeria’s evolving tax laws and regulatory frameworks, including the Nigeria Tax Act.

He is the Principal Partner of Donald Mezu & Co. (Chartered Accountants), where he provides strategic leadership in audit, assurance, taxation, forensic accounting, and financial advisory services. In this capacity, he has served a wide range of clients across diverse sectors, including government ministries, departments and agencies, public sector institutions, engineering and construction firms, healthcare providers, educational institutions, NGOs, donor-funded projects, and private sector organizations. He leads statutory audits, tax audits, forensic reviews, financial reporting engagements, and regulatory compliance assignments, ensuring strict adherence to professional standards, ethical requirements, and applicable laws.
